Results for the East Midlands Airport 10k – 27.11.16
This was a unique chance to run around East Midlands Airport (as it was closed temporarily during Nov-Dec for re-surfacing). Getting the shuttle bus to departures and finding your check-in desk to collect your number without a suitcase was not the normal Masssey’s Tour. Due to airport security the route was not published beforehand but consists of two laps – one 6km lap and one 4km lap; it was flat and fast, entirely on closed roads around the airport with a few planes and fire engines to run past, plus PB’s for lots of Massey Runners.
