Martin travelled to Lanzarote to take part in the flat and fast course along the coast. This was an out and back route, which also included a half-marathon and 10k.

Results for the Bovington Marathon – 10.12.16
This marathon and half marathon started and finished at the world famous Tank Museum Bovington, Dorset. The route was hilly, muddy, cold, wet…. Medals were huge, with 2016 being the 100-year anniversary of the Tank.

Results for the Keyworth Turkey Trot – 11.12.16
This course is a single circuit, all on road, starting and finishing in the village of Keyworth passing through the undulating (up and down!) rural scenery and villages of the South Nottinghamshire Wolds. The course is considered to be both challenging and rewarding, and being a little hilly !!

Results for the Milton Keynes Winter Half Marathon – 11.12.16
This flagship event was a scenic, single lap, traffic free 13.1 miles’ anti-clockwise route around the city of Milton Keynes. Runners ran along the Grand Union Canal and return via the linear parks that run throughout Milton Keynes.

Results for the Sneyd Striders Christmas Pudding Run – 11.12.16
Not sure if it was the final chance of getting 10 & 5 mile points on the Road Race League, the draw of a free Xmas pudding, or the chance to dress up in Xmas clothing that made 16 Massey Runners take the trip to Walsall for the 31st Sneyd Striders Christmas Pudding Run. The anti-clockwise 5 mile lap was fairly boring, but was fast and relatively flat. Read Dave Phillip’s race report here

Results for the Telford 10k – 11.12.16
This 10k had two start times with the Elite Sub 40-minutes starting first and the Masses 40-90+ minutes starting 45 minutes later. This fast & flat 2 lap traffic-free course was located entirely within Telford Town Park and the whole course is on tarmac paths. The Start was close to the International Centre car park, and the finish line was in the Town Park Amphitheatre.
