A snowy weekend meant that lots of races were cancelled, Ashbourne 10, Groundhog Day, Bath, Droitwich, Warwick Half Marathon’s all fell by the wayside.
Results for the Cambridge Half Marathon – 4.3.18
This race started and finished on Midsummer Common and was a one lap loop. The course headed through the centre of Cambridge; past the Round Church, Kings College, Fitzwilliam Museum and along The Backs. The new section saw runners head out of the city along Trumpington Road through Grantchester and back into the city along the Barton Road.

Results for the Dorney Lake Marathon – 4.3.18
This was a flat marathon consisting of 10 out and back laps of the private driveway through the nature reserve at Dorney Lake. Dorney Lake is a world class venue for rowing events this event was held on land not water. The organisers had arranged exclusive use of the driveway through the nature reserve for the day, which meant that the flat road surface is free from any other users of the estate, allowing runners to relax and enjoy the scenery.
