Results for the Railway Ultra – 30.7.22

This route gave runners the option of running 19, 28 or 36 miles.  The route took runners along the banks of the River Severn between Ironbridge and Bridgnorth along the discussed railway line with great views of the river.

Results for the Tittesworth Water Half Marathon – 6.8.22

The Half Marathon route consisted of an undulating loop on a mix of surfaces including trail, gravel and road with a few stairs thrown in for good measure! Runners started from the edge of the reservoir and then to the summit of Hen Cloud and then a short descent before continuing to climb up to the top of The Roaches. After a small loop down towards Forrest Wood, then descending down to the western shores of the reservoir. The final 7km of the route circumnavigated the reservoir.

This race was multiple laps around Shrewsbury’s purpose built cycle track.

Results for the Birmingham Canal Canter – 14.8.22

Both the 26.2 and 18.6 mile courses started and finished from Moseley Rugby Club.  The main course included the Stratford on Avon Canal, the Cole Valley Way, Grand Union Canal, Fazeley Canal, Wolverhampton Main Line and Birmingham Worcester Canal before returning to Moseley Rugby Club via the Stratford Canal.   It passed Sarehole Mill (inspiration to Tolkien’s Middle Earth), under the dark bowels of “Spaghetti Juction, Gas Street Basin, home of the International Convention Centre and  award winning Brindley Place development.  The 18 mile route again took in the Cole Valley Way passing Sarehole Mill, the the Grand Union Canal, Fazeley Canal, Birmingham Worcester Canal and returns to the Rugby Club via the Stratford on Avon Canal.
