Results for the May the Fourth – 4.5.18
This race will took place in the beautiful Shropshire Hills. Each laps was 13.1 miles and took in the views from the top of Pole Bank, the famous mountain bike descent of Minton Batch, and the most beautiful valley on the Mynd Ashes Hollow.

These events had a six hour time limit for runners to run as many, (or as few laps) as you wish, each lap was 5.17 miles. The course was a mix of high quality bike paths and grassy trails along the River Nene and around several flood reservoirs, with plenty of wildlife and views to be seen.

Results for the St Illtyds 50k Ultra – 6.5.18
The St Illtyds Trail race was a 100KM or 50KM race across varied terrain and spectacular scenery including canals, woodlands, hills and rivers, taking in scenery such as waterfalls, old ruins and crossing canals and rivers. The race started and finished in the ancient village of Pembrey.

Results for the Planes T’Rayne’s and Automobiles 6-Hour Challenge – 6.5.18
This almost completely flat, traffic free, out and back course was on hard-packed trail, giving runners the opportunity to run as many or as few laps within the time limit of 6 hours. The loops were be 5.3km in distance between Braintree and Bishops Stortford, along The Flitch Way.

Results for the Simplyhealth Great Birmingham 10k – 6.5.18
Starting on Jennens Road, next to Aston University, the route headed downhill past Selfridges and the Bullring Shopping Centre and into Digbeth. It then went out along Pershore Road to the furthest turn point at Cannon Hill Park. The route wound through the park and then crossed the road outside Edgbaston Cricket Ground. The route then passed Calthorpe Park before returning back through Digbeth and up a short hill, back to Jennens Road where runners finished by the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire.

Results for the Nuneaton Aquathlon – 6.5.18
Held at the Pingles Sports Centre, this aquathlon comprised of a 400m swim followed by an off road 5k, which finished on the running track. Well done to Alison who won her age category.

Results for the Milton Keynes Marathon & Half Marathon – 7.5.18
The MK Marathon started from MK stadium. The first five miles for both races were on wide roads and tree lined boulevards. The route continued through picturesque Woughton-on-the-Green and Woolstone parishes, where the half marathoners split from the full marathon course at mile seven, and continued around Caldecotte Lake before the stadium finish.
The marathon runners continue through the original Milton Keynes Village, and then on to Willen Lake and the Peace Pagoda before looping back to join the historic grand union canal. The route also took in St Andrews, before passing the Bradwell Windmill, built in 1810 at around mile 18.
The route continued west to Bancroft past the remains of an ancient Roman Villa. then headed south, following the brook, passing the famous Concrete Cows and then Bradwell Abbey, built in the 14th century. The course then went through Loughton Valley Park, before heading back for a victory lap of the stadium MK football pitch.

The Mayday 10k was a challenging 3 lap 10K over parkland and footpaths around Abbey Fields in Kenilworth, organised by Kenilworth Runners. The race could be run by individuals or by a 3 person relay team with each member running 1 lap.

Results for the Kingstanding Kingslayer 10k – 7.5.18
Held at Kingstanding Farm in Beausale, near Hatton, this race was set in the heart of Warwickshire and although undulating in nature, the new course went through many different terrains, fields, long grass, mud and also included a stream crossing. This was ideal for runners new to trail running and seasoned trail runners.
