With 5 miles of terrifying trails, the horror of Beacon Hill (twice), The Skeleton Run was a 5 miles run which took place within the boundaries of the Beacon Hill Country Park, Loughborough, Leicestershire. The Beacon is a 240 acre site of undulating heathland, woodland, grassland, wetlands, rocky outcrops and meadows. Rising to a height of 245m, Beacon Hill is the second highest point in Leicestershire.

Results for the Beachy Head Marathon – 27.10.18
The Eastbourne Beachy Head Marathon is one the biggest off-road marathons in the UK. Formerly known as the Seven Sisters Marathon, it is popular for its scenic and challenging route through the South Downs National Park countryside. The marathon covers a 26.2 mile course that includes 300 steps and 14 gates, passing through the picturesque Sussex villages of Jevington, Alfriston, Litlington, Friston Forest, the Cuckmere Valley and Seven Sisters, including Birling Gap and Beachy Head. Results for the Dublin Marathon – 28.10.18
The single lap marathon started in Fitzwilliam Street near Merrion Square and headed west past St Stephen’s Green toward the River Liffy. At mile 2 runners crossed the river and the course carried on west towards Phoenix Park, with miles 4, 5, & 6 being ran in the park. Upon exiting the park the route headed south with mile 8 & 9 clipping the south of the park. At mile 10 runners crossed the river again and headed south east passing Brickfields Park and Bushy Park. At mile 22 the route wound around University College Dublin and Elm Park Golf Course, before heading north toward the finish at Merrion Square.

Results for the Leicestershire 10k – 28.10.18
Located in the heart of the Midlands, Prestwold Hall is the ancestral home of the Packe-Drury–Lowe family. The race started at the hall, the run proceeded toward the Hall’s motor track where the route incorporated laps of the track and airfield. The route then heads back towards the Main Estate, and finished in front of the Grand Hall.
