Results for the Thames Meander Marathon – 3.11.18
This race was a flat scenic riverside trail marathon starting and finishing at the YMCA Hawker Centre HQ.The course meandered along the Thames Path out to the far side of Canbury Gardens and then returned past the HQ and along the Thames Path trail as far as the Barn Elms Rowing Club turnaround point, returning past the HQ again to the far side of Canbury Gardens which is the final turnaround point, returning to finish at the YMCA HQ.

This race was 7 (plus a bit) miles round a ‘new and even more scenic and challenging’ circuit (a bit longer and hillier than previous years) on quiet country lanes, none of which actually pass through Langley.

Results for the TCS New York Marathon – 4.11.18
The TCS New York City Marathon course runs through all five of New York City’s boroughs: Staten Island, Brooklyn, Queens, the Bronx, and Manhattan’s iconic Central Park and was first held in 1970. The race started at the Western end of Verrazano-Narrows Bridge on Staten Island and finished in Central Park, just outside of Tavern on the Green. Read Phil’s race report here.

Results for the Runger Games Marathon – 4.11.18
Held at Wokingham Waterside Centre, Reading, this was a 6 hour timed event where runners chose to run their distance from 5k to ultra. The course was flat and fast and followed the River Thames through picturesque scenery and nature reserve. Read Daniel’s race report here.

Results for the Marlow Half Marathon – 4.11.18
This race was run on virtually traffic free country lanes. There was a Half Marathon or a 7 miler, the route was challenging, with the start and finish in the picturesque riverside town of Marlow and went through this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Read Dave’s race report here.

This challenging ten–mile event, was run on scenic but quiet lanes, the undulating course was based round the small village of Standon near to Eccleshall in rural Staffordshire and finished at Standon School.

Set at Rockingham, Europe’s fastest racing circuit. The 10k was 2 laps & the 10mile route was 3.5 laps – all races finished in the pit lane in front of the grandstand stadium.
