Results for the Weedon 10k – 21.6.22

Starting at the Village Hall in Weedon, Northants this was an undulating route of rural roads through beautiful countryside.

Results for the Race to the Tower – 25.6.22

This double marathon took runners and walkers through the pleasant rolling hills of the Cotswolds, passing though small towns and past impressive historic landmark features, finishing at Broadway Tower.

Warwickshire Ring Canal Race – First female finisher Massey’s Emily Hoffmann in 24:40:00

The Warwickshire Ring Canal Race is a circular anti-clockwise route which comprised of sections of the Coventry; Birmingham & Fazeley; Grand Union; and Oxford Canal towpaths. Starting and finishing at Coventry Basin. 

Cannock 50 – held at Cannock Chase this was either 50 miles (5 laps) or 50 km (3 + a tiny lap) of a spectacular but hilly route.  Well done to Chris Foxall and Graeme Flanagan who took part in this 50k event. 111 c

Results for the Leamington Spa Half Marathon – 26.6.22

The course started and finished in the heart of Royal Leamington Spa alongside the iconic Royal Pump Room Gardens. The updated course headed north out of Leamington Spa through scenic villages, passing farms and fields in the beautiful Warwickshire countryside before descending back into the town for a tour of Leamington Spa’s stunning historic gardens and parks.  Well done to Dave who was the 2:30 pacer.

Results for the Snickerthon Marathon – 26.6.22

This course followed a 3.3 mile loop around the famous Ironman reservoir at Chasewater Country Park.  The full marathoners completed 8 laps, the route was a mixed terrain of paths, running alongside the Chasewater railway and the reservoir.

Results for the Thame 10k – 26.6.22

This is a very well established road race, which regularly attracts the race limit of 1000 runners.  This race started and finished at Upper school playing fields, the route went out through the historic town centre of Thame and back along the traffic free Phoenix Trail.

Results for the Tamworth Gate Gallop – 26.6.22

Held at the Anker Valley Sports Complex in Amington, the course started around the sports field and then went off on to the North Warwickshire Moors. The route was all off road and consisted of grass, tracks, concrete paths, running around farmer’s field and stiles and gates to climb over.
