A number of Massey Runners took part in this Fun Run which started and finished at The Heart of England School, participants were able to choose to run either 5k or 10k. This was a two lap course with a few inclines along the way.
A special mention to George Semple and Sam Lowe who won 2nd place and 3rd place Junior’s in the 5k, also to Dean Semple who won 1st place in the men’s 5k (while trying to keep up with George !!)

“A 2 lap, deceptively hilly course, with several long energy sapping inclines (or maybe that was just my tired legs after a week’s DIY!). Finished in a time of 45:16, which is quite pleasing and almost exactly the same time as the Two Castles, so not sure if that is progress!
Massey’s had a good turn out and seemed to do pretty well overall, so well done”.
