Results for the Berlin Marathon – 24.9.17
3 Massey Runners took to the streets of Berlin for the 44th Berlin Marathon, the course itself is notoriously flat and quick, with plenty of world records having been set there throughout the years. The course started and finished near the Brandenburg Gate; the route passed Charlottenburg, around Tiergarten, along Moabit and Mitte, and then south to Friedrichshain. After that, the course wound west between Kreuzberg and Neukölln, through Schöneberg, over to Friedenau and Zehlendorf, before turning north back toward the city’s centre. Finally looping above Schöneberg, the course came full circle as it finished through the Brandenburg Gate.

Results for the Draycote 10k, 10 & 20 Miler – 24.9.17
There were 3 distances in this multi lapper at Draycote Water. 1 lap for the 10k, 2 laps for the 10 miles and 4 laps for the 20 miler, there was also a small sub-lap to make the distances correct. With runners wearing different coloured numbers it was good to see other Massey Runners on the way round, the hot September weather made this a tough training run for many doing Autumn half’s and marathons. Well done to Jonathan and Katie who both came first in their age categories in the 10k, and Nikki Carter who came first in her age category in the 10 miler.
