Results for the Shifnal Half Marathon – 25.6.17
The thirteenth Shifnal Half Marathon (formerly the Shifnal Steeplechase) took a rural route between the village churches of Shifnal, Ryton, Beckbury and Kemberton before returning to race HQ at Idsall School/Sports Centre. The ‘steeplechase’ follows quiet country roads, bridleways and footpaths through the Shropshire countryside passing fields of livestock and crops. Read Dave’s Race Report here

Results for the Penny Lane Striders 10k – 25.6.17
The race was part of the Merseyside Grand Prix, the Penny Lane Striders 10k fast course took runners along the famous River Mersey Promenade and through Otterspool Park before returning to race HQ at Riversdale Police Club.

Results for the Tamworth Gate Gallop 10k – 25.6.17
This was a rural, traffic-free multi-terrain 10k run from Anker Valley Sport Complex, Amington, Tamworth. The flat 10K included running through wooded areas, through farmer’s fields, past lakes and over stiles. This was a great local race (ideal for those wanting to try trail running) plus a great goody bag meant all the Massey Runners said they’d “do it again” !!

Results for the Thame 10k – 25.6.17
A popular race for both club runners looking for a PB as well as fun runners looking for well-managed and affordable 10km race. This race started and finished at Upper school playing fields, the route went out through the historic town centre of Thame and back along the traffic free Phoenix Trail.

Results for the Wythall & Hollywood 5k – 25.6.17
There were three races available 1.5km (fun run), 5k and 10k, all on crossed roads finishing in Wythall Park. Well done to Virginia who won a prize for 2nd lady.
