Well what a super day and as always the hills at Ilmington are always very steep and hard to get to the top. However all the Massey runners did start and finish so well done everyone PLUS a huge thanks to the organisers Sarah and Rob of Tempo Events for always putting on great events.
This was race 3 in the series of 5 with two more in Jan and Feb so hope all the Massey runners do all 5!
There were 320 runners in this race (348 in the last one) so just maybe Christmas activities are responsible for the shortfall but January’s race will probably be back to a very full bunch of runners.
Lovely scenery on this event which is only the 2nd time it has been done so hope all enjoyed it.
The final 2 races will be on the normal circuit going round 2 different ways in Jan and Feb.
So let’s all be there for the last 2 events next year and of course there will as usual be sausage packs for all finishers plus track suit tops for those who do all 5 races. Great!
