Sally is one of our clubs original lady members who joined the ladies section of the club when it was formed in 1984 although she had actually started running 3 years previously to that.
Sally has enjoyed many successes over those years having completed the first Coventry marathon and also London marathon 7 times from the Good for age start & eventually going on to running 27 marathons in total.
Sally has recently celebrated her 84th birthday and you can still find her out there putting in the miles in the Warwickshire road race league or at parkruns both locally and further afield.
So from everyone at MFRC Sally, well done for still lacing up those trainers and pulling on the red and white quarters.
