6 Massey Runners took part in this half marathon starting in the docks area of Dublin and heading out towards Phoenix Park. The weather forecast was for heavy rain, but we seemed to miss the worst of it, just getting damp at the start and at the end. It was a tough course with a steep hill at 2 miles, and a never ending 5-mile lap of the park. Not a lot of local support but the Coventry support squad did us proud !!!
An early start time meant that there was plenty of time to sample the local alcoholic produce afterwards.
