Results for the Summer Shakespeare 10k – 29.7.17

This was the final running of this race due to the land being redeveloped for housing.  The course is set on Long Marston airfield, and was a 5km, 10km or half-marathon distance on traffic free lap(s).  Well done to Ian who was first in his age category, you can read Kelvin’s race report here.

Results for the Dorset Invader Marathon & Half-marathon – 29.7.17 & 30.7.17

This marathon was a hilly out and back course and 95% trail based around East Farm in the heart of Dorset.  The marathon was run on the Saturday and the half-marathon on the Sunday.

Results for the Fort William Marathon – 30.7.17

This race is advertised as Scotland’s friendliest Marathon.  Set in the heart of the Scottish Highlands, the Fort William Marathon took runners on a journey through some of the area’s most stunning scenery, taking in the spectacular sites of Fort William, including Ben Nevis, Thomas Telford’s Caledonian Canal and Neptune’s Staircase, The Commando Memorial, General Wade’s High Bridge and the old railway viaduct.  Read Lesley’s Race Report here.

Results for the Abbott Trail 10k Run – 30.7.17

This 5K or10K trail run was held in Hopwas Woods, a beautiful ancient woodland situated in the district of Lichfield in Staffordshire. The route offered a mixture of natural single tracks, dirt tracks and some short steep descents, and took in some wonderful scenery. Tamworth Ukulele Group were playing live in the woodland to help keep participant’s spirits high during the race!
