Results for the Farnborough Winter Half – 21.1.18

The start and finish of this race was under the famous Airship hangar in Farnborough Business Park, which now stands as a monument to the past as a great piece of industrial art.  The route took you past the end of the runway and continued adjacent to the runway emerging next to the Air Accident Investigation Centre. From here the route returned to the Business Park and passed the start at approx 5 miles.  The course then continued through the Business Park and out on a flat road circuit through the rural area that surrounded the airfield.   Well done to Delroy who was pacing for 2 hours.

Results for the Essar Four Villages Half Marathon – 21.1.18

This course started at Helsby Sports Club and turned right on the A56 heading towards the motorway before turning left at the traffic lights towards Chester this led runners though the village of Dunham on the Hill.  After exiting Dunham runners followed the road until the half way on the course. There was then a draggy hill into Mouldsworth at the 8 mile point, through Manley village, finishing with a final flat mile.

The fourth race in the Tempo Winter Series, on a wet, cold & snowy day.  Well done to Dean for taking first place !
