This was a re-arranged event from earlier in the year, when we it was postponed from a mid-week billing due to the first 2026 heatwave. I found the race just a week ago and given my distain for hills, it seemed perfect for me.
They’d arranged for it to be less hot, but unfortunately could do nothing about the hills.
182 runners lined up to tackle the Malvern foothills, hoping to get a PB so they’re back before the beer ran out.
A bit of a trek on Sunday morning, but the views alone were worth it.
