RaceFit – 6.15pm
Exercise specifically aimed at the core muscles required for running, including some circuit training, often followed by a light mixed-ability run.
Winter location –
Massey Ferguson Clubhouse, CV5 7NL.
Cost to cover room hire: £2 for club members, £3 for non-members.
Summer location –
Westwood Church Field behind St Johns Church
Free.

Wednesday
Mixed-Ability Training – 6.30pm
Mixed ability session, including a warm-up, running skills (endurance, strength, stability) and time or distance based intervals, sometimes combined with a looped run.
Location –
Various, including War Memorial Park, Massey Ferguson Clubhouse.
Grouped Training – 6.30pm
Running training, grouped accordingly to ability. A mixture of running, interval work, hill training, paired work. Each week led by a different run leader.
Groups –
12 – 14 minute mile (35-40 minute 5k)
11 – 12 minute mile (34-27 minute 5k)
10 – 11 minute mile (31-24 minute 5k)
8.5 – 10 minute mile (26-21 minute 5k)
7.5 – 8.5 minute mile (21-26 minute 5k)
Location –
Various, including War Memorial Park, Massey Ferguson Clubhouse.
Other Training
Several unofficial runs also take place at varying times from and locations, ranging from 20 mile road runs during the marathon training season to 7 mile off road runs and everything in between.
