Results for the Alcester 10k – 11.10.15

9 members took part in this 10k which was a new event for this year organised by the Raceways team. The run was a one lap course – starting in the centre of Alcester, then out along the Stratford Road to Walcote then headed back towards Great Alne before turning to complete the loop back towards Alcester finishing, where we started, in the high street. It was a lovely scenic course on closed roads – and even the weather was perfect (almost too warm!).  Whilst not as flat as I thought it would be, it was only undulating in places with no serious hills to trouble us. The medal was quite distinctive too! Overall a great addition to the race calendar for the late autumn.  (report Alison Lowe)
