Results for the Darwin Day Half Marathon – 9.2.18
This event was held at Shrewsbury Sports Village, Shropshire on International Charles Darwin Day to celebrate his birthday in the town of his birth Shrewsbury. The run was held on the purpose built cycle track, and runners could chose between half or full marathon. Massey Runners chose the half-marathon option.
Results for the Mad Dash 10k & 20k – 10.2.18
This friendly, local race is set in the beautiful Warwickshire countryside. Starting at the Moreton Morrell Centre, Warwickshire College, the 10km was completed in one gently undulating lap, and the 20km in two.
Results for the St Valentines 30k – 11.2.18
The Stamford Striders’ St Valentine 30K Race is the flagship event organised by the Stamford Striders, it is run each year on the Sunday closest to St Valentine’s Day. Starting and finishing at Stamford’s Welland Academy (formerly Queen Eleanor School), the course winds its way through Little Casterton, Tolethorpe, Ryhall, Careby, Pickworth and Great Casterton on a challenging rural undulating route. All finishers receive a packet of Love Hearts in their goody bags.

Results for the Leicestershire Half Marathon – 11.2.18
This was the first Leicestershire Half Marathon starting and finishing at the beautiful Prestwold Hall the ancestral home of the Packe-Drury–Lowe family. The route started down the main driveway of the hall before making a circuit of the hall’s motor track. The course then went onto the closed roads of Prestwold, re-entering the estate for another lap of the airfield and finished in front of the grand hall. Well done to Phyll who came 1st in her age category.

This is a series of 10k events held over the winter months, with the usual 1 and a bit laps of the reservoir.
