Results for the Chester Marathon & Metric Marathon – 3.10.21
The MBNA Chester Marathon is listed as the UK’s favourite marathon, with a spectacular start and finish at Chester Racecourse, the route passed all Chester’s iconic landmarks, then headed out into the Cheshire & North Wales countryside, before returning along the banks of the River Dee for a finish back at the racecourse. The metric marathon (26.2k) route also took in the historic city centre sights and the scenic villages of Cheshire. After running through Aldford the course reached the turnround point, and joined the marathon runners on the return to Chester. On re-entering the City, runners follow the River Dee along the Groves and Castle Drive before a triumphant finish at the racecourse!

Results for the Rugby 10 Mile – 3.10.21
This race was based at Barby Cricket Club near Rugby and was the final race of the Warwickshire Road Race League. The course was run entirely on public roads, starting in Barby, passing through Kilsby, Hillmorton, Barby, Kilsby and returning to Barby. The last mile was the same as the first mile but run in the opposite direction. The course was undulating and included ‘Cart Hill’ after 6 miles.

This popular race started in 2004 and now sells out in hours, this event had rolled over from May 2020 ! The 10k route started and finished at Grove School.
