Results for the Leicester City 5k – 30.5.19

The Leicester City 5k course is a two lap route covering the tarmac paths within the boundaries of Victoria Park.  The route is a flat course with only one gentle incline to contend with.  This is a series of 4 races during the summer months

Results for the Chillington Hall Half Marathon – 1.6.19

The Chillington Hall Spring Challenge events were run through the private estate of the Giffard Family. There were two distances (13.1 miles and 10K) both followed the many trails and paths through the beautiful and varied Chillington Estate. Terrain includes grass, fields, mud and gravel. Runners started near the grand house heading down the main driveway, before leading off around the beautiful woodland and lake.

Results for the Tysoe Windmill 10k – 1.6.19

This run started from Tysoe Sports Field, after a short distance through the village, the route joined a footpath up to the top of picturesque Windmill Hill (one of the higher peaks in South Warwickshire).  From there, the 10km trail continued into neighbouring Compton Wynyates Estate (opened exclusively for this event).  Well done Dean who came 2nd overall.

Results for the Rhein-Ruhr Half Marathon – 2.6.19

The Rhein-Ruhr Marathon, is one of Germany’s oldest urban marathons. It first took place in 1981.  Runners started from the Kruppstrasse in the Sportpark Wedau from there the race took runners through Neudorf towards the city centre. Here the half-marathon course took runners in a southerly direction towards the Dellviertel.  After a short run through Meiderich the race continues over the Friedrich-Ebert-Bridge onto the left bank of the Rhein. From Alt-Homberg the route turned South and took runners back over the Rhein into Hochfeld, where at the 28 km mark, it connects back with the half-marathon course heading in from the North. The course then leads runners on to the finish in the MSV-Arena.

Results for the Vhi Womens Mini Marathon – 2.6.19

The Vhi Women’s Mini Marathon, is an annual 10k charity road race, held each June bank holiday weekend in Dublin and is the largest Women’s event of its kind in the world.
