Results for the Escape from Meridan Ultra – 2.6.17
This race started at the centre of England, Meriden. At midnight runners were released and they had to run as far away, and as fast as they can for 24 hours, being tracked by a crow ! (event tracking technology). Depending on how far runners got they received a different award, Certificate, silver, gold, black crow. The twist was that the miles are measured “as the crow flies”, not miles travelled. Well done to Emily who won the solo female category !

Results for the Tysoe Windmill 10k – 3.6.17
This race was a largely off-road run, the run started from Tysoe Sports Field after a short distance through the village, the route joined a footpath up to the top of picturesque Windmill Hill — one of the higher peaks in South Warwickshire. From there, the 10km trail continued into neighbouring Compton Wynyates Estate — opened exclusively for this event. Taken through wood copses, across lush fields, past grazing sheep and deer — and up yet more hills — runners were treated to a true 10km challenge in a stunning landscape.
