Results for the London Marathon – 22.4.18

19 Massey runners headed to London for this iconic marathon, with many more Massey runners supporting along the route and watching on TV at home !  This year was the hottest on record and the Massey Runners performed excellent in the scorching heat.

Results for the Blackpool Full & Half Marathon – 22.4.18

The marathon was a two lap course and is very flat and the half was one lap.  Read Jonathan’s race report here.

Results for the Longhorn Trail Full, Half Marathon & 5k – 22.4.18

Runners could choose 5k, 10k, half marathon, full marathon or 60k Ultra set in private areas of Sherwood Forest & the beautiful grounds of Thoresby Park; next to the Grade1 listed 19th Century country house in north Nottinghamshire; Thoresby Hall.  The route was run over old military roads, cleared tracks through ancient woodland and grassed paths around the country estate. The route included a few hills through private areas that were once part of the 10,000 acres Royal Forest of Sherwood, the reserve is also the site of Europe’s oldest Oak tree woodland, containing over 1000 Oaks most of which are over 500 years old! It is here that the Longhorn Cattle of Thoresby Estate now roam freely.

Results for the Monty 5k – 22.4.18

Leamington Cycling & Athletics Club hosted the second race in the WRRL.  The route started and finished at Edmondscote athletics track and was two loops which went out in Victoria Park, along the River Leam.
