This is one of the biggest marathons in the world with approx. 57,000 runners. The route across Paris took in the Champs Elysees, the Bois de Vincennes, Arc de Triomphe, Place de la Concorde, Notre Dame and the Eiffel Tower.

Results for the Brighton Marathon – 14.4.19
The marathon started in Preston Park and wound through the city taking in some of Brighton’s attractions (the Royal Pavilion, Brighton Dome, the i360 tower, the North Laine, Peace Statue, the Pier, Kemp Town, Hove Lawns and more) before hitting the famous promenade and finishing on Madeira Drive, just east of Brighton Pier.

Results for the Boston Marathon (UK) – 14.4.18
This run claims to be the flattest marathon course in the country, held on the Sunday preceding USA Patriots Day (3rd Monday of April), the day of the more famous US Boston marathon. It is a road marathon and completely flat all along the course. Starting at Boston Market place and finishing at Boston College. Read Dave’s race report here.

Results for the Rutland Spring Half Marathon – 14.4.19
The course started at Barnsdale setting off towards Oakham along the North shore of Rutland water. The route followed the shoreline and towards the Hambleton Peninsula and the village of Hambleton. Following the peninsula, runners headed back towards the A606 and Oakham.

This was a rural half marathon along a scenic route taking in country lanes in and around Droitwich Spa, Worcestershire, the race stated at Westacre School and finish on Droitwich High School’s Athletic track.

Results for the Mersey Tunnel 10k – 14.4.19
This 10K course started on Blackstock St approx 250m before the Kingsway Tunnel. The runners started with a gentle 1 mile descent under the River Mersey. The Tunnel entrance marked the 1k point with 2k & 3k inside the Tunnel. At 2.5k runners started the long, slow ascent out of the Tunnel and into the daylight on the Wirral side of the river. Leaving the Tunnel runners moved on to Oakdale Road with the 5k halfway point just behind the Mersey Ferry terminal on Birkenhead Road. The second half of the course was flat from the Wallasey Ferry terminal to the finish at New Brighton running alongside the River Mersey.
