Results for the Draycote 7@7– 7.7.16

This race was one lap around Draycote Water with the unusual distance of 7k (approx. 3.4 miles), there were 386 runners in total, with 21 Massey Runners taking part.  A warm and muggy evening, with plenty of flying creatures on the way round, the usual medal, t-shirt & goody bag for £10 – bargain !! (positions based on gun time)

Results for the Timberhonger 10k – 9.7.16

The 14^th running of this race was part of Bromsgrove carnival weekend with most of the route on Timberhonger Lane.  The route is listed as a picturesque but challenging with a number of testing hills.

Results for the Wye Valley Trail Half Marathon – 10.7.16

The Wyre Forest Half Marathon is run on forest paths and tracks, it is a hilly, off-road race through Wyre Forest with a course description of “even a mountain goat could not hope to run a PB here” and the one-in-four hill a few yards from the finish eliminates all hope of fast times!!!.  4 brave Massey runners tackled this event, with Phyllis coming first in her age category.

Results for the Northbrook 10k – 10.7.16

A great turnout of 50 Massey Runners completed the Northbook 10k (7^th race in the WRRL) in warm conditions.  This local race is run around the Allesley to Corley area over an undulating and scenic course, for some runners this was their first 10k, so big “congratulations” for all those who completed this race.
