Results for Race to the King – 25.6.16 & 26.6.16
This South Downs Double Marathon gave runners the opportunity to walk, jog or run 53.5-miles along the stunning South Downs Way passing numerous historical sites to the burial place of the first Kings of England. The breathtaking route started near Arundel in West Sussex and ran through the South Downs National Park until runners reached reach the finish on the steps of Winchester Cathedral. The route offered panoramic views of the surrounding landscape and historical sites such as Iron Age forts and Bronze Age burial grounds. Rachel chose to run this challenge over two days with an overnight camping stop to re-charge her running batteries!

Results for the Donnington Festival of Running – 26.6.16
This day offered a selection of distances including 10 miles, 10k, 5k and family mile event, with 4 Massey Runners taking part in the 10-mile race. Donnington Racecourse is set within a 680 acre estate with fantastic views across the English countryside, and allowed runners to race on the famous track. The day was themed around motorsports with runners waved off by the chequered flag to the sound of revving engines. Runners had the opportunity to re-fuel at each of the pit stops around the course.

Results for the Torbay Half Marathon – 26.6.16
This was the 25th running of this very popular seaside event; the route was a traffic free two lap route which started and finished on Paignton seafront, taking in the stunning coastal views across Torbay. Runners started with one lap of Paignton Green before heading towards Torquay, where the course passed the historic Torre Abbey and Princess Gardens where runners started the return back to Paignton. Special “well done” to Katie running her first half-marathon.
