Womens Midlands XC league – 4th race.
Aldersley Stadium, Wolverhampton.Race Report:- Nicky Chambers, Ladies Captain
There was a total turnout of 23 ladies who ran this final race of the season in what was a very muddy course on a bitterly cold day at Wolverhampton.Please see attached link for results.There have now been larger numbers of ladies than men running out of 2 of the 4 races which is a first in the clubs history and we have had 40 ladies in total taking part in at least 1 race out of the 4.Our first 4 ladies to finish were Jess Rexworthy, Zoe Moore, Alana Pennell and Jackie Schofield.We had a total of 9 ladies who ran all 4 events with Jess Rexworthy winning overall Senior lady position and Zoe Moore overall Masters.The ladies have had an excellent season meaning the team finished in 9th place overall and the Masters in 10th. This is a huge improvement from last season.I would like to say a massive thank you to all the ladies who have taken part and all those that have supported. As Massey’s grows I can only see us going from strength to strength in future seasons.
